Drummond Motor Car Company was an automobile manufacturer based in Omaha, Nebraska, that operated briefly from 1915 to 1916. The company produced a range of vehicles, initially focusing on both four-cylinder and six-cylinder models. In 1916, Drummond introduced a V8 engine, which utilized a Herschell-Spillman engine design.
Despite its innovative offerings, Drummond's production remained limited during its two years of operation. The company ultimately produced approximately 300 vehicles before ceasing operations. Following the closure of Drummond, the Douglas Motor Corporation of Omaha succeeded it, continuing to manufacture cars that were largely unchanged except for the name, which was rebranded to Douglas, until 1919.
