Daisy Cyclecar Company was established in 1914 in Los Angeles, California. The company aimed to produce a cyclecar, a lightweight and economical vehicle designed for personal transportation.
The Daisy cyclecar was intended to be powered by a 10 horsepower, four-cylinder air-cooled engine manufactured by the Pacific Mechanical Company. It featured a friction transmission and a double-chain drive system, which were common characteristics of cyclecars during that era. The planned retail price for the vehicle was approximately $400.
Despite the initial plans and specifications, production of the Daisy cyclecar never commenced, and the company ultimately did not bring any vehicles to market. The lack of production marked the end of the Daisy Cyclecar Company’s brief existence in the automotive industry.
