Carter's Conversions

Carter's Conversions was an American company based in Imlay City, Minnesota, known for producing replica and kit vehicles based on well-known sports car designs.

The company's lineup included a replica of the 427 Cobra, along with kits modeled after the Lamborghini Countach, marketed as the Rambo, the Ferrari F-40, sold as the Modena, and the Dino 246, offered as the Roma.

The Cobra replica was built on a tube frame chassis and could be equipped with either Ford or Chevrolet V8 engines. The other models in the range were based on running gear sourced from the Pontiac Fiero.

All of Carter's Conversions' vehicles were available for purchase either as complete, turnkey cars or as kits for buyers to assemble themselves.
