Cannon was an American automobile brand that operated from 1902 to 1906. The company was established by two machinists, Frank Bunt and Warren B. Cannon, in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The brand derived its name from Cannon, reflecting the contributions of its co-founder.

Initially, Cannon produced a 7-horsepower single-cylinder runabout and a 15-horsepower two-cylinder tonneau. By 1905, the company expanded its offerings to include more powerful models, such as a 24-horsepower two-cylinder vehicle and a 50-horsepower four-cylinder car. The vehicles featured either epicyclic or sliding gear transmissions, which, along with the engines, were manufactured in Bunt's factory.

However, by 1906, Cannon shifted its focus primarily to producing friction clutches for other manufacturers and stationary engines, marking a significant change in its business model. It is important to note that there was no connection between Cannon and the Cannon steamer, a one-off racing vehicle created by George Cannon in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
