California Component Cars Inc. was an American automotive manufacturer based in Oakland, California, active from approximately 1980 to 1984. The company specialized in the production of kit cars, notably the British Sterling, which was also known as the Nova.

In addition to the Sterling, California Component Cars developed a modified version called the Sovran. This variant featured a reinforced lower body section and introduced electrically operated pop-up headlights. The Sovran also offered various options for bonnet scoops, but the most distinctive alteration from the original Sterling was the squared-off wheel openings, which contributed to its unique aesthetic.

Despite its brief operational period, California Component Cars contributed to the kit car market during the early 1980s, catering to enthusiasts seeking customizable automotive options.
