Burdick Motor Company was established in 1909 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, by Ralph Burdick, who had previously found success in manufacturing small two-stroke marine engines. Transitioning into the automotive industry, Burdick introduced a large seven-seater tourer characterized by its substantial 142-inch (3604 mm) wheelbase. This vehicle was powered by a 9668 cc six-cylinder Continental engine.
Only one example of this tourer was produced, with a price tag of $7,000. However, it remains uncertain whether this vehicle was ever sold. Additionally, there were plans for a model named Greyhound, which was intended to be a roadster, but this model was never realized.
