S.R. Bailey & Co. was an American automobile manufacturer based in Amesbury, Massachusetts, active from 1907 to 1916. The company originated as a coachbuilder in a region known for its craftsmanship, alongside other notable firms such as Biddle & Smart and Judkins. In 1907, Bailey introduced its first electric vehicle, the Queen Victoria Phaeton, which was notable for being designed specifically for the Edison battery.

The Queen Victoria Phaeton boasted a claimed range of 80 to 100 miles per charge and remained in production with minimal changes until 1915. In addition to the Phaeton, the company expanded its lineup to include various models, such as two- and four-passenger roadsters and a cabriolet. Unlike many of its contemporaries, Bailey did not offer a closed coupe variant of its electric cars. The pricing for these vehicles was relatively high, reaching up to $3,300 for a four-seater roadster, reflecting the premium nature of the brand during its operational years.
