Bailey was an American automobile manufacturer that operated from 1906 to 1910, primarily based in Springfield, Massachusetts. The company was initially established as the Bailey-Perkins Motor Company in 1906, founded by Bertram Bailey, who financed the production of vehicles designed by brothers Julian and James Perkins. The Perkins brothers had previously built a prototype car under their own name in the same year.

The Bailey automobiles were notable for their unique engineering, featuring a 22-horsepower, four-cylinder, two-stroke rotary engine. In 1908, the company announced a more powerful model equipped with a 30 to 35-horsepower engine. The design of the vehicles was distinctive, characterized by an unusually tall structure with running boards positioned two feet above the ground. This unconventional design likely contributed to the limited sales of the vehicles, leading to the company's eventual decline.

Bailey transitioned to the Bailey Automobile Company in 1907, continuing operations until 1910. Despite its short existence, the brand is remembered for its innovative approach to automotive design during the early years of the automobile industry.
