Allen was an American automotive brand active from approximately 1982 to 1987, based in Boise, Idaho. Founded by Mike Allen Specialties, the company specialized in the production of replica vehicles, most notably a replica of the iconic 427 Cobra.
The Allen Cobra replica featured several distinctive design elements, including a nose that tilted upward, reminiscent of the Jaguar XKE. The vehicle was built on a tube frame that allowed for the integration of various suspension systems. Customers had the option to equip their replicas with either Ford Mustang II front suspension or a combination of Corvette suspension at the rear, with the possibility of using 1984 Corvette suspension throughout the vehicle.
Allen offered its products in both kit form, allowing enthusiasts to assemble the vehicle themselves, and as fully assembled units, catering to a range of customer preferences.
