The Gilcolt featured a distinctive fibreglass body that was characterized by its slab-sided appearance, which was somewhat unconventional for the time. One of its notable design elements was the inclusion of gull-wing doors, which added an element of flair to the vehicle's aesthetic. The brand offered both complete cars and kits for enthusiasts, with prices for the kits starting at £250.

Although the Gilcolt was inspired by the Bond Bug, another unique British vehicle, it remained a niche offering in the automotive market. The brand's production was limited, and it did not achieve widespread recognition, ultimately marking a brief chapter in the history of British motoring.
