Elswick was a British automotive manufacturer active from 1981 to approximately 1984, based in Kings Coughton, Alcester, Warwickshire. The company specialized in producing vehicles designed for accessibility, notably the Elswick Envoy, which was aimed at wheelchair users.

The Elswick Envoy was a small car that featured a design by William Towns. It utilized mechanical components from the Mini, integrated into a chassis engineered by G.K.N. Sankey. The vehicle was notable for its angular fiberglass bodywork, which was constructed by Reliant at their facility in Tamworth.

One of the key features of the Elswick Envoy was its single rear door and a ramp that allowed wheelchair users to enter the vehicle easily. Once inside, the wheelchair could be secured in place, enabling the driver to operate the car directly from their wheelchair. This innovative approach aimed to enhance mobility for individuals with disabilities during its brief production run.
