Brand Data

D.R.K. Kits was a small manufacturer based in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire, in the United Kingdom, known for producing three-wheeled kit cars, or trikes.

Although classified as kit cars, D.R.K.'s trikes were hand-built and priced to reflect their quality. Construction involved a hardwood frame built up with layers of plywood, which was then encased in aluminium. The chassis was originally designed to make use of Renault 4 and Renault 6 mechanical components. A version based on the Renault 5 was subsequently introduced and went on to become considerably more popular than the original design.

Production was limited, with the company completing around half a dozen vehicles each year.
