Brand Data

The Domino Car Co. was based in Southampton, Hampshire, United Kingdom, and specialized in fibreglass-bodied vehicles built upon existing car platforms.

The company's designer, Richard Oakes, created the Domino Pimlico, a fibreglass monocoque reinterpretation of the Mini. It featured ribbed, contrasting lower bodywork, wider wheel arches, a targa roof, and lacked conventional bumpers or doors.

Following the Pimlico, Domino introduced additional body styles based on the same concept, including the Premier, which had solid half-doors and sidescreens, the fully enclosed HT (Hard Top), and the Pup, a pickup variant.

At various points, Domino also produced and marketed the Vincent Hurricane and Wizard kit cars, expanding its range beyond its original Mini-based designs.
