The Dew/Dewcar was a powered by a single-cylinder Precision engine developing 4.5 hp. A two-seater appeared shortly afterwards, fitted with a larger twin-cylinder engine. The single-seater cost 75 pounds and the two-seater between 95 and 115 pounds depending on whether the engine was air-cooled or water-cooled.

In 1914 Harold Dew left the company to form the DU Manufacturing Company, which would manufacture the D'Ultra cyclecar. With Dew's departure, the DEW Engineering Company Limited was reorganised and renamed Victor Motors , and the Dewcar cyclecar became known as Victor.
