De Bruyne Motor, officially known as Jar Co. Ltd., was established in 1968 in Newmarket, Suffolk, United Kingdom. The company emerged from the remnants of the Gordon Keeble GT project, which had failed to achieve commercial success. John de Bruyne, an American entrepreneur, acquired the rights to the car and sought to revitalize the brand.

At the 1968 New York Motor Show, De Bruyne Motor showcased two rebadged Gordon Keeble models alongside a new mid-engine coupe. This innovative vehicle was equipped with a 5.7-liter Chevrolet engine and a five-speed transaxle, boasting a claimed top speed of 180 mph (290 km/h). Despite the ambitious presentation, the company did not continue operations, and no further developments were reported from De Bruyne Motor after the show.
