Brightwheel was a British automotive manufacturer active from 1986 to 1989, based in Christchurch, Dorset. Founded by Ken Cook, the company specialized in producing replica sports cars. One of its notable models was the Viper, which was derived from the ex-Sheldonhurst Cobra replica. The Viper offered various options for its suspension and drivetrain, including components from the Ford Granada and Jaguar, as well as a Rover V8 engine.

In addition to the Viper, Brightwheel also developed a more budget-friendly variant known as the Viper 4, which was based on the Ford Cortina. The company made a final attempt to expand its offerings with the CR6 Stinger in 1988, a replica of the Lamborghini Countach. After Brightwheel ceased operations, the Viper name was revived by another company, Cobretti, while Ken Cook continued to work in the automotive field under the name Classic Replicas.
