Beaujangle was a British automotive manufacturer that operated briefly from 1972 to 1973, based in Manchester. The company initially focused on producing affordable Ford T-bucket shells before shifting its attention to the development of a sports car known as the Can-Am. This model was inspired by American kit car designs and drew influence from the US Can-Am racing series.
The Can-Am was constructed using a modified Volkswagen floorpan, which was shortened by five inches (127 mm) to enhance its performance. The suspension system underwent modifications to improve handling characteristics, making it more suitable for spirited driving. A total of six units of the Can-Am were produced during its short production run. In 1985, the design saw a brief revival by a company named Lemazone, although this iteration did not lead to significant production.
