Arkon was a British automotive brand founded in 1971 by Richard Moon in Purley, Surrey. The company is noted for its unique design approach, which was likely inspired by the PROBE model. Arkon produced an extremely low coupé that utilized a rear-mounted engine and rear suspension from the Hillman Imp, integrated into a modified Triumph Spitfire chassis that featured additional strengthening for enhanced performance.
Although there were plans for a slightly larger version of the coupé to enter production, these plans ultimately did not materialize. As a result, Arkon remains a niche name in the automotive industry, with limited production and recognition.
