Albany Mfg Co. Ltd was a British automobile manufacturer based in Willesden, London, active from 1903 to 1905. The company is noted for its initial foray into the automotive industry with the Lamplough-Albany, a steam-powered vehicle designed by Frederick Lamplough. This model was unveiled at the Crystal Palace Show in February 1903 and featured a semi-flash boiler that could utilize petrol or paraffin fuel. It was equipped with a 24-horsepower four-cylinder engine and offered a choice between wheel or tiller steering. The design included a frontal bonnet and a four-seater tonneau body, resembling contemporary petrol vehicles.

Despite the innovative design, Albany Mfg Co. Ltd likely produced only a limited number of vehicles, as the company was not listed in automotive production records after 1903. Following the Lamplough-Albany, Albany introduced the Silent Albany, a 10-horsepower single-cylinder model that featured a unique silencer system. This system utilized exhaust gases to drive a fan that cooled the engine before the gases were expelled through a conventional silencer. The Silent Albany was available until 1905, after which the company shifted its focus to manufacturing radiators and selling Talbot vehicles.
