KOBOT Co., Ltd. was a Japanese electric-mobility manufacturer based in Munakata, Fukuoka Prefecture. It was founded in February 2011 as Kowa Tmsuk Co., Ltd., a joint venture between Kowa Co., Ltd., a pharmaceuticals and electro-optical instruments manufacturer, and Tmsuk Co., Ltd., a developer of service robots, with Kowa holding 65 percent and Tmsuk 35 percent of the new company.
