Daponte was a Greek car built in 1962 by Manolis Daponte, an engineer from the island of Kythera. It was a four-seater powered by a 50cc, 4.2 horsepower engine that could be driven on a moped license, reaching a top speed of 60 km/h. Daponte intended it for production and approached several companies in Athens, including Bioplastic/Attica, but the project went no further due to the financial risks involved.
