Umba Auto AG was a German car maker founded on 17 October 1923 in Hamburg, at Pappelallee 41-43. Its name came from co-founder engineer Curt Umbach. The company built a small car known as the Umba 4/14 PS, fitted with a 770cc engine producing 14 horsepower. Papers relating to the company were held by the Hamburg state archive, and the car itself remained essentially unrecorded in later automotive reference literature.
