Micron by Exid was a French electric microcar project developed by EXID Assistance Aux Projets, a Paris-area project-management firm. Announced in late 2009 and unveiled as a prototype at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2011, Micron targeted Europe’s light and heavy quadricycle categories. The enclosed two-seat vehicle measured about 2.10 m long and 1.00 m wide, weighed roughly 350 kg, and used a composite body. Exid publicized two variants: a L6e version limited to 45 km/h with a 4 kW motor for young drivers, and a more powerful L7e version (up to 13–15 kW) with a claimed top speed around 75–80 km/h and an advertised range of up to 150 km.
Exid sought investors and initially aimed for production in 2012, but Micron remained at the prototype stage and did not enter series manufacture.
