G.P.M. Automobile SA was a French automobile manufacturer based in Roanne, operational from 1994 to 1997. The company was founded by two former engineers from Auverland, who aimed to create a unique vehicle in the automotive market.
The primary model produced by G.P.M. was the Fole, a small, buggy-like open car that was available in both two-seater and four-seater configurations. The Fole featured a lightweight fiberglass body mounted on a simple square-tube chassis. It was powered by a 50cc diesel engine that produced 50 horsepower, with the option of a more powerful 1360cc engine derived from Citroën AX components. This configuration allowed the vehicle to achieve a top speed of 90 mph (145 km/h).
During its brief production run, G.P.M. managed to sell 100 units of the Fole in 1995 alone, indicating a modest level of market interest in this unconventional vehicle. However, the company ceased operations in 1997, marking the end of its contribution to the automotive industry.
