E.H.P. was a French automobile manufacturer founded in 1921 by Henri Predoux, based in La Garenne-Colombes, Seine. The company specialized in producing cyclecars, which were compact and lightweight vehicles designed for economy and efficiency. E.H.P. gained recognition for its attractive designs, characterized by a low build, shaft drive, and cantilever rear springs, along with a radiator that resembled a miniature Rolls-Royce.

The initial models produced by E.H.P. included a 2-seater tourer and a 2-seater sports car, which featured a windscreen of the Vutotal type, similar to those seen on Chenard-Walckers in the late 1930s. The vehicles were powered by a 1093cc overhead valve Ruby OS engine, sourced from the Courbevoie firm. E.H.P. achieved early success, winning its first hill climb at Argenteuil in April 1921. In 1922, the company expanded its offerings to include delivery vans, with bodies constructed by Carrosserie Générale de l’Automobile (C.G.A.) of Courbevoie, which later acquired E.H.P.

In the following years, E.H.P. introduced various models, including the D4, which featured a longer wheelbase suitable for four-door coachwork and was powered by a 1200cc C.I.M.E. engine. The company also produced the DT Speciale in 1925, a sports car equipped with a 1495cc single-overhead cam engine, of which only a few units were made. The DM and DS models formed the core of E.H.P.'s lineup until 1928, with the DV model introduced in 1927, powered by side-valve 6-cylinder C.I.M.E. engines.

Despite its initial success, E.H.P. faced challenges in the late 1920s, particularly due to financial difficulties affecting C.G.A. The company did not participate in the 1928 Salon, and while the DM and DV models were listed into 1929, production ceased shortly thereafter. Henri Predoux eventually left the automotive industry and worked as a welder in a Paris suburb during the mid-1960s.
