The Caffort was an unusual car whose two front wheels were mounted so close together that it looked like a 3-wheeler. This arrangement avoided the need for a differential. The Caffort was powered by a 1 litre flat-twin engine located next to the driver, and powered the front wheels through a 3-speed gearbox and bevel gears. The Caffort was used primarily as a taxi or delivery van, although some were sold to private citizens for use as passenger cars.
