Berret was a French automobile manufacturer that operated briefly from 1899 to 1903. Based in Cannes, the company was part of the early automotive industry in France and was notable for being one of the few car makers from the French Riviera. The brand's origins trace back to 1895 when it developed a prototype vehicle featuring a 3-cylinder engine.

During its short production run, Berret managed to manufacture only seven production cars. The limited output reflected the challenges faced by early automotive companies in a rapidly evolving industry.
