Rural

The Rural was a 4×4 utility vehicle prototype built in 1952 in São Paulo. Mário Barros do Amaral, the local representative of the British Rover company, initiated the project. Years later, Amaral presented the first project for national manufacture of Land Rover jeeps to Geia. The 1952 prototype was named Rural 1. It was intentionally inspired by the English jeep.
