Envemo was a Brazilian automotive manufacturer founded in 1978, based in São Paulo. The company specialized in producing tuning equipment for Chevrolet vehicles and gained recognition for its unique automotive offerings.
The first model produced by Envemo was a convertible based on the Chevrolet Opala, which featured a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine. This model was available with either a manual or automatic transmission, catering to a range of consumer preferences.
In 1980, Envemo expanded its production to include replicas of the Porsche 356. These replicas utilized locally-built 1.6-liter Volkswagen Beetle engines, allowing the company to leverage existing automotive components while appealing to enthusiasts of classic sports cars.
Envemo operated until approximately 1994, during which time it contributed to the Brazilian automotive landscape through its innovative designs and adaptations of popular models.
