Mean Motor Engineering from Liege was renamed Liberta in 1971. The Funcar model used a box-chassis with an integral roll-over bar. It was offered both in kit and fully-built forms using Renault or Simca engines. It proved to be quite popular as nearly 120 examples were sold in 1972 alone.
