Classic Glass Cars was an automotive manufacturer based in Virginia, South Australia. The company specialized in the production of replica vehicles, most notably the Cobra replica. Founded by Dominic and Erin Cocci, Classic Glass Cars utilized the expertise available in Australian Technology in Adelaide during the development of their vehicles.
The Cobra replicas were constructed on a Trail chassis, which featured wheelbase options of either 90 inches (2286 mm) or 94 inches (2388 mm). The vehicles incorporated Jaguar suspension and braking systems at both the front and rear. While the primary engine choice was a 5-litre Ford V8, the design also allowed for compatibility with other engines, including Chevrolet, Holden, or Leyland Australia V8s, which ranged from 4.4 to 7 litres in displacement.
