Chic Cars Ltd. was an automobile manufacturer based in Adelaide, South Australia. The company was founded by Clarence Chick, who conceptualized the brand as a producer of assembled cars utilizing British components. The prototype of the Chic car was constructed by F.W. Bond in Yorkshire, England.

The vehicles produced by Chic Cars featured a range of British-made parts, including an engine and gearbox sourced from Meadows, a Lucas magneto, and a Zenith carburettor. Other components included a Gallay radiator, a Rubery-Owen frame, Woodhead springs, and CAV electrics. The cars offered front-wheel brakes and provided options for either disc or Sankey artillery wheels. Chic Cars manufactured two main models: a 14/40 horsepower four-cylinder vehicle with a 118-inch (2997 mm) wheelbase and a six-cylinder 18/48 horsepower model on a 128-inch (3251 mm) chassis. The bodies for these vehicles were supplied by T.J. Richards & Sons, and included roadster, tourer, and saloon configurations.

Initially, it was reported that the chassis were built in Wolverhampton, but later, the MONARCH company of Birmingham became the designated supplier. Despite the production of more than 40 vehicles, Chic Cars Ltd. faced financial difficulties and entered receivership in 1926.
