Pacific Roadster was a small American kit-car manufacturer and custom shop that produced wide-body replicas of the 1960s Shelby Cobra. Operating under the assumed business name Pacific Roadster Customizing Co., it was registered in Oregon in 2002. The business was closely associated with owner and authorized representative Vui Nguyen, who oversaw both component sales and completed builds. Its Cobra replicas used Ford 5.0-liter Mustang donor components and off-the-shelf parts, with buyers able to choose between a relatively low-cost base kit and more expensive “turnkey minus” packages that arrived largely assembled and ready for drivetrain installation.

Pacific Roadster’s fiberglass bodyshell and chassis were developed as a wide-body interpretation of the 427 Cobra, with a cockpit and pedal area promoted as comfortable for drivers over six feet tall and a rear track several inches wider than many rival replicas. Its cars competed at regional shows, including a Pacific Roadster Cobra that placed in the Replica and Prototype class at the Sonoma “Sonoma SprintS” event. The company also built at least one fully finished promotional car, a roadster given away in a 2010 Chinook Winds Casino and Resort sweepstakes, which highlighted the brand’s ability to deliver complete, show-ready Cobras as well as kits.
