Debonnaire was a kit car produced by Replac Corp., a manufacturer based in Euclid, Ohio. The car was an angular sportscar built around running gear from 1941 to 1951 Ford models.
The Debonnaire kit consisted of a fibreglass body with trim, and buyers could also choose an optional hard-top. While it was offered in kit form for the do-it-yourself builder, a fully assembled Debonnaire was priced at 1,800 dollars.
In addition to the Debonnaire, Replac Corp. produced a roadster kit called the Venture, which was styled by Phil Egan and also used a 1941 to 1951 Ford chassis. The Venture kit was considerably less expensive, priced at 650 dollars.
