Mirach

Mirach was a small British sports car manufacturer based in Totnes, Devon, active in two phases: first as Leopard Cars Ltd between 1988 and 1994, and later as Clive Robinson Cars from 1996 to 1997.

The car was designed by Chris Field, a former Vauxhall stylist, who conceived the Mirach as a larger and more contemporary interpretation of the Lotus 7. It featured minimal, doorless bodywork constructed from fibreglass and carbon fibre, mounted on a tubular space frame chassis, and incorporated advanced aerodynamic design for its era.

Power came from a bored-out 4-litre Rover V8 engine. Production of the original version ceased after only ten examples had been built.

A subsequent plan aimed to offer the Mirach in kit form, using Ford Sierra running gear and offering a choice of engines including the Rover V8, Ford Cosworth, Ford V6, and Vauxhall Astra units. This revival, however, never reached production.
