VM exklusiver Fahrzeugbau GmbH was a small German sports-car maker based in Bergisch Gladbach that traded under the brand VM. Founded by Klaus Vielhauer with brothers Robert and Ulrich Menschik, it produced lightweight, open two-seaters through 2010. Its first model, the Seventy Seven, was a close interpretation of the Lotus Seven concept and was offered both as a kit and as a factory-built car. A second in-house design, the Nardo, was sold only as a complete vehicle; in top Nardo 200 GT specification it used a 2.0-litre 16-valve Cosworth four-cylinder, with a turbocharged version rated around 204 hp. VM built cars in small numbers. After ending car production in 2010, the company continued to operate in vehicle repair, restoration and metal fabrication.
