Evelyn was a light car produced by the Carette Company, which was based in Great Portland Street, London. The vehicle was manufactured during a brief period from 1913 to 1914. The exact location of production remains uncertain.
The Evelyn featured a 10 horsepower, 2-cylinder Dorman engine, complemented by a Wrigley 3-speed gearbox and shaft drive. In the summer of 1914, a 4-cylinder model was announced, but the onset of World War I significantly hindered production, resulting in few units being manufactured before the war disrupted the automotive industry.
