Dankar Ind. Com. de Veículos Lda. was a Brazilian automotive manufacturer based in Rio de Janeiro, active from 1979 until 1984. The company specialized in the production of sports cars, with its most notable model being the Squalo.

The Squalo was a mid-engine coupe that utilized the running gear of the 1.6-liter Volkswagen Passat. It featured a central backbone chassis, which contributed to its structural integrity and performance. The vehicle was equipped with all-round disc brakes and a torsion-bar suspension system, enhancing its handling and driving dynamics.

Despite its innovative design and engineering, Dankar's production was limited, and the company ceased operations in the mid-1980s. The Squalo remains a unique example of Brazilian automotive engineering from that era.
