Cornely was a French car manufacturer based in Malakoff, associated with a Volkswagen Beetle-based sports fun car known as the Moana.
The Moana design was first presented at the Racing Car Show in 1972 by Lem Design, having been designed by Yvan Labat and realized by Roger Matigot. Its styling was vaguely reminiscent of the Matra M530, featuring a fixed rear section combined with roll-up sides that allowed entry into the vehicle.
In 1973, this design was put into production by Cornely, bringing the Beetle-based sports fun car to the market under the company's name.
