You may have never heard about Extrema before. That's because it is a name of new Italian supercar that is still under development. The things started approximately three years ago under the initiative of Mirko Soldan who is the designer of the car and the leader of the entire project. "The idea of building this car was born a few years ago after many years in the world of racing cars, designing and building carbon components for the various cars that ran in several categories", said Mr. Soldan for allcarindex.
The car you see here is a unique Canadian three-wheeler tandem named Lance. It has been created by Lance Boettcher - the president of the Fiberlite Designs Ltd. The company has been established in 1995 in Strathmore, Alberta but currently is located in Calgary, Alberta. The car has been designed to be powered by a small-block Chevrolet 5-liter V8 engine mated with 3 speed automatic gearbox. Lance's aircraft-inspired bodywork has ben been made of fiberglass composite what resulted in a total curb weight of only 744 kilos (1640 lbs)! ECOmove is a brand-new comoany from Denmark aiming to develop, produce and sell both safety and environmentally-friendly cars. Established by Mikkel Steen Pedersen, the creator of RoadRazer sportscar, and Lone Stubdrup Tilsammen in spring of 2009, the company has just reveled the first details of their first product - an open-top three-seater electric vehicle with a centered driver position.
