VISION Automobile Paris is a new French automotive brand that we are currently launching, driven by passion and ambition.
We are a team of 16 enthusiasts, all coming from very different backgrounds, who have been working together for three years now on this crazy project: to create a 100% French Hypercar, uncompromising, radical, tailor-made, and with the least possible impact on its environment in the current context of energy transition.
We are looking for exclusivity, performance and above all to make people dream, by highlighting the incredible French craftsmanship.

VISION Automobiles Paris // Inspired by Le Mans
VISION Automobiles Paris aims to be an automobile Haute-Couture house that makes - initially - vehicles inspired by the universe of motorsport.
This convergence between Haute-Couture and motorsport stems from the fact that in this discipline, everything is imagined and designed around, and for the driver.
Our first creation is called "1789". This first iconic model is a demonstration of our know-how and skills. It is a two-seater vehicle directly inspired by the prototypes of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Indeed, 1789 immerses the pilot and passenger in the world of racing by fitting them in a "LMP" type position, placing their legs above the level of the pelvis. 1789 is a vehicle that has a flat bottom that is extremely worked to generate maximum aerodynamic support. This also allows to do without unsightly aerodynamic appendices and to keep the upper part more refined and timeless.
Finally, 1789 is a vehicle with an ultra-modern design that breaks and contrasts with current automotive propositions.
VISION Automobiles Paris will enable enthusiasts to drive a road-legal race car, close to the prototypes of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, on the track but also on the road.

a. A visionary technology
As previously mentioned, we aim to embody the French Hypercar, to offer outstanding driving sensations, and to play a major role in the revolution of the sports car industry.
The engine of 1789 will be powered by bio-methane.
Bio-methane - what is it?
Bio-methane (or BioGNV - Bio Natural Gas Vehicle) is natural gas used as a fuel and composed of more than 97% methane (CH4). It is produced from the fermentation of organic waste of agricultural, industrial or household origin and has the particularity of being able to operate with conventional thermal engines and is highly energetic.
Its impact on our environment:
Today, about 20% of global warming is caused by methane generated by agriculture (40%) and by the extraction of fossil fuels (30%). Methane is a much more powerful greenhouse gas than CO2, with a global warming potential 28 times higher. Capturing and burning this methane in carbon dioxide means reducing its impact on global warming by 9, thus having a neutral or even positive impact on the associated greenhouse effect. In addition to its carbon impact, one of the strong points of bio-methane is that it is a renewable source of energy that recycles waste resulting f rom human activity. Compared to diesel, the combustion of biomethane in a combustion engine results in a reduction of more than 80% of CO2 emissions, more than 95% of fine particle emissions and more than 70% of nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions.
What are the advantages for VISION 1789?
The volume of fuel required and the weight of the technology which exploits it are relatively close to today's conventional engines, in contrast to the cumbersome solutions required by electric and hydrogen engines. This therefore makes it possible to keep a light and powerful vehicle with a small engine and a long range. Also, the use of liquid or gaseous bio- methane allows the vehicle to be «flexfuel» and to accept without any problem other fuels such as CNG (Compressed Natural Gas), or LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) in case the user does not find bio-methane on his travels.
Bio-methane is a fuel that can be applied quickly without completely transforming the vehicle technology or the distribution method. It does not cause any major technological breakthrough or loss of jobs, or industry in Europe. Finally, bio-methane is the best possible fuel to date for a 100% ecological mobility from well to wheel. VISION is convinced that bio-methane is the fuel of choice in the context of the energy and climate transition we must undertake.
Our desire to highlight French know-how and craftsmanship, and to produce our vehicles in France also allows us to drastically limit the impact of our production.
Finally, the choice of this engine not only limits our impact in the current context of energy transition, but also guarantees an exceptional sound, bringing the driver closer to the world of motorsport once again.
b. An official presentation at the most prestigious events
Our first fundraising will allow us to officially present 1789 to the general public at the most prestigious automotive events on the planet. These events are vectors of dreams and admiration, bringing together manufacturers from around the world and maintaining this transmission of the automotive passion that is so important for us.
We therefore plan to present VISION 1789 in 2021 in Paris, Geneva, but also in Italy, California, the United Kingdom and Dubai, among others.
c. Participating to the most prestigious Endurance races
The Automobile Endurance Races, such as the 24H of Le Mans, are the DNA of VISION Automobiles Paris. Our ambition is to take part in such races.
VISION Automobiles Paris will offer a road-legal vehicle designed and imagined for racing.
d. Amazing driving sensations in a luxury and French showcase
VISION Automobiles Paris aims to renew the "automotive tailor", materialized in a race car, without any compromise, providing breathtaking driving sensations.
More precisely, VISION Automobiles Paris handcrafts unique vehicles for gentlemen drivers. These vehicles, developed, manufactured and assembled in France, combine exceptional French know-how in motorsport and luxury.
Much more than a car, our aim is to offer our customers a unique experience. The interior of the vehicle is a real showcase, designed to fit its owner.
In a world where today's Hypercars are racing for numbers and excessive power, VISION chooses the race for pure emotions and sensations.
VISION 1789 is a two-seater vehicle inspired by the prototypes of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Its driving position allows the driver and passenger to immerse themselves in the extreme world of motorsport. 1789 is a real prototype in an evening dress. Beneath its sleek bodywork is an engine specially developed for endurance racing and a flat bottom generating strong aerodynamic support. Everything has been thought out to provide unique sensations to the drivers; the power of the engine is only transmitted to the rear wheels, and the exceptional weight/power ratio guarantees an extremely competitive behaviour.

The team and the spirit of VISION Automobiles Paris are our real strengths. The average age of the VISION Team is 26 and our "human" size allows us to avoid the tedious compromises and standardization inherent in the classic automotive industry. Thanks to the experience gained in the largest automotive manufacturers and luxury houses, our team is at the cutting edge of the most advanced know-how and technologies.
We are fortunate to have two professional endurance drivers in our team: Paul-Loup Chatin, 2019 European Endurance Champion and Matthieu Vaxivière, third at the 2019 Le Mans 24 Hours with TDS Racing, on Oreca 07, and third at the 2020 edition, with Panis Racing.
Their experience in endurance racing and especially in the 24 Hours of Le Mans is crucial and allows us to move forward at a frantic pace. Paul-Loup and Matthieu are making a major contribution to the development of 1789 and to the driving experience that will put its future owners into the shoes of a true 24 Hours of Le Mans driver.
Florent Biard, from Faster Racing, and Thibaut Dejardin from Welter Recherche Technologie Industrie, are our mentors and partners. They help us enormously on the technical parts related to the development of the vehicle, and will participate to its production.
We are also supported by Thibaut Granier, former head of concept car development at PSA, but also by Ferdowsi Consulting, a prestigious law firm that has been helping us on the legal side since the beginning of this journey.
The VISION team is young and dynamic: it is made up of designers, modelers, lawyers, financial analysts, engineers, technicians and other enthusiasts who have gathered their skills, their knowledge and all share the same passion and the same dream.

Indeed, we are accompanied by Michelin, Faster Racing (prototype development), Welter Recherche Technologie Industrie (bio-methane motorization and integration) who holds the world racing speed record with 407 km/h in the Hunaudières straight line, Estival Prototypes (1:1 scale model design), Genaris Group (wiring and system integration), ACE - Aero Concept Engineering (aerodynamic development), Poly Shape, an AddUp company, innovating in additive manufacturing processes and specializing in metal printing, and many others. All of them have a strong experience in the automotive sector.
