savage rivale roadyacht gts is a brainchild of dutch design students emile pop and justin de boer which was announced in the middle of 2008. the first full-scale roadgoing prototype of the four-door topless supercar was presented on april, 2009 both at autorai show in amsterdam and top marques monaco show of the exclusive automobiles. featuring chrome-molybdene chassis under the carbon skin and sophisticated material like carbon, alcantara and aluminum in the interior this car probably has found its own niche among the powerful, fast and expensive supercars. the rivale gts is equipped with a supercharged gm 6.2-liter v8 engine developing a maximum power of 670 hp at 6200 rpm and 730 nm of torque at 4800 rpm. mated with an automatic transmission driving the rear wheels this topless four-seater supercar is capable of sprinting from 0 to 100 n 3.4 seconds. a claimed top speed is 330+ km/h. the dutch roadyacht cruiser utilizes a double wishbone suspension both in front and rear and "wears" toyo tires (255/55 and 325/25 respectivelly) mounted on 20-inch rims. another conspicious technical decision is, of course, the double butterfly doors opening up and forward in front while the rear ones open up and backwards. none but roadyacht gts has such unique doors which are far more common for concept cars than the production automobiles.
this small company intendes to build an sell worldwide only 20 units of the rivale gts which for this moment exists in a single example. a starting price for the car is 411000 euro. however, this will not be the only model in the line-up since the savage rivale has announced an introduction of the new model to be presented this year. the new model - the roadyacht gtr - will be presented in monaco, but not at the forthcoming top marques show where the company will demonstrate their car. the world premiere will take a place at yacht show in september. this will be a racing version of the gts and is intended for a limited production of 69 units. the gtr will be powered by the same 6.2-litre v8 engine as the gts but unlike its sibling the maximum power will be 700 hp. moreover, it will feature a two-door bodywork. a price and further details for the new model are yet to be announced so watch this spce for more information to come.

production only on request, and limited to 69 units, we are building a 2-door hardcore race version of the 4-door gts. this time there’s no balance of all three statements; panorama, performance, and people sharing their exceptional experiences together, in one car. instead we decided to focus solely on high performance and the experience of driving, a brutal engine, a superlight and strong chassis combined with the latest aerodynamics, packed in the futuristic savage rivale suit.
from boy to man
there is no human born a man. savage rivale enables clients to entirely tweak and co-operate with our factory to enhance the gtr to become their personal masterpiece. there is even the possibility for our clients to develop their gtr into the full grown gts.
no nonsense
the gtr version contrasts his big gts brother by being the bad boy in town; we gave our engine department full budget to optimize the power train even more. a 6.2 l v8 with around 700 bhp and no unnecessary auxiliaries, but a seat, a steering wheel and a lot of down force secures extraordinary performance in a durable and safe way.
skeleton
the chassis is designed entirely with the use of high tech computer techniques such as fem. the steel tubular space frame chassis is safe with a high torque stiffness, weighing just under 115 kg. a flat floor with a unique ‘suction deck’ guarantees excellent stability and car control from 0-325 km/ h.
mutant heart
captured between the transmission and the ls9 derived supercharged engine, you find yourself half man half engine. on request more seats can be added for a multi-person experience, the joint ride of a lifetime.
i am legend

birth of a legend
barely two weeks ago, savage rivale announced the birth of new legend by developing the gtr, a race version of the roadyacht gts. at this moment we can inform the world that the first gtr is sold and it will see the first light of day by autumn. it will be unveiled @ the yacht show in monaco september 2011.
