there is no doubt, that porsche is one of most iconic and influential marques of all time and only several sportscar manufacturers can be proud of such long-term success and glory. probably not accidentaly just after porsche released latest news of their 918 spyder development, a new porsche-based project crops out.
interestingly, a new swiss venture named genevart will not try to reproduce some porsche models of the past. actually, this brand-new company is taking the 918 rsr concept as their muse!
however, while the most stunning automobile of last year detroit motor show uses hybrid technology, the swiss super-porsche will be based on 997 with the engine tuned up to 900hp and will be available in both coupe and convertible versions. the company says the car will use a carbon fiber bodywork what will allow to save a total weight of the vehicle up to target of 1370 kg. neither exact technical specifications nor price tag are released for this moment since celsius as this model is named is still in very early stage of development.
nevertheless, the genevart intends to unveil their first automobile already next year at the geneva 2013 and top marques monaco 2013. moreover, they also plan to introduce new supercar models each year and produce them in an extremely limited numbers only for a selected clientele.
