TIBERIO goes back to Capri Island, but “The Last Emperor” will be Totò, forever.
It is white, with azure mouldings, lots of chrome details, mahogany and teak finishing, it reminds the sea and has a nostalgic look with tails as fins: its silvery roof shines almost like a dolphin.
Reaching Marina Grande at least once in the life everyone feels an emperor just got off his vessel on this fixed piece of rock, as the story goes, anchored to the sea bottom by three columns.
Then your gaze turns to the top and you discover the beauty of the island.
Disembarked, still at the dock, there is the ideal coach (vehicle) to welcome you, something that can get you everywhere in few minutes overcoming any difficulties: the taxi.
Each taxi since always is different expressing the driver’s personality, each time they’re able to let you feel like a star, often seen in the movies, during your ride.
Each “ taxi ride “is an authentic experience as each “driver” goes far beyond the duties of a common driver.
Each taxi driver updates recurring tourists about the latest news, is a perfect tourist guide to discover the most beautiful sights of the Island, discreetly safeguards the most touching love stories handing out romantic bouquets appeared, heaven knows, from somewhere!
They look like gondoliers, they sing, smile and spread “savoir faire”: and, as their Venetian colleagues, most of them are taxi drivers through generations.
Vehicles used for this purpose have always been open-air and coloured, the municipality since ever tries to preserve this category of vehicles as they are a symbol for the Island.
TIBERIO is meant for every seaside town where visitors look for a special courtesy car service or high end taxi. Our attempt is to meet the special needs of a category who has to renew its car fleet with open cars, equipped with 7 seats, wide luggage compartment and moderate size.
TIBERIO provides all this in just 4352mm, exactly in 738mm less than the currently most popular model, the successful CAPRI release coming from Fiat MAREA model appeared in 1998.
TIBERIO as passed the EU homologation regulations for small series, its forms and its unique features are “protected” by multiple international patents.

the exterior style
TIBERIO is a car “to love”, thought for one of the most beautiful sea-spot in the world: nautical style and elegance are blended together to fulfil latest functional characteristics and reminds the golden ages of the dolce vita.
A new volume is added to the original MPV configuration, stretching the back space by 540mm and modelling a small beach equipped with a technical scratch-resistant platform with mahogany and teak finishing: this new luggage compartment is sized to accommodate 4 big hard side luggage’s.
To hide the remarkable tail, the roof is extended by means of a spoiler (where there is the necessary third brake) that truly looks like a nautical origin fly bridge providing a coverage to luggage compartment and a shelter to those who occupy the third row of seats.
The long sides are innervated by reminiscences of the 50’s, forming niches in which are embedded the new LED circular rear light.
New “lifeline” bars in stainless steel connect the rear roof pillar to the beach optically blending all new parts.
The sight view is lightened by an innovative kit of body side and door mouldings that could be provided in your favourite colour .
The car body is also slimmed down by the special grey tint with "brushed steel" effect applied to the roof. This allows the maximum reflection of sunlight without any glare-effect and reduces heat from sunlight into the car in the long summer days.
Our solution to create an open car turns down a bulky and long capote, that would inevitably compromise cargo capacity, comfort of the seats reserved to users and different levels of comfort associated with different seasons.
The gap in the roof compatible with the original opening glazing has been expanded in width and in length to the last row of seats in order to offer the wider panoramic view as possible.
This change does not alter the remarkable torsion and rigidity performance of the body, essential quality to continually cover terrific curvy climbs and slopes.
The maintenance of the original side windows, in addition to allow the maximum reliability of the ‘wind and water’ system, does not produce any problem for vehicles fixing and assistance.
In the frequent cases in which you must serve the very numerous VIP customers, we believe it is the best solution to ensure high levels of privacy, allows to use also the air conditioning system and avoids the guests on board while standing in a queue to breathe the emissions of exhaust pipes of the other cars. Tradition of Dolce Vita spirit combined to the latest technologies and comfort requests.
On the roof it has been created a modular system that provides different locking levels. Thanks to the new frame with aerodynamic spoiler is now possible to use following solutions:
- winter hard top with and without transparent trap door;
- waterproof soft top;
- transparent soft top;
- awning with decomposable steel structure;
The use of different roofing occurs by means of mechanical fastening or via a nautical origin zipper.
The extension of the car is obtained using exclusively in high-strength steel plates with a different thickness for the maximum control of the added weight, the new body parts are made of composite materials.
the interior style
This first model explores the need inside the car to use materials suitable for public use that, contrary to those commonly used for this application, offer a very natural "feeling" and an "attractive" and sophisticated image that is typical of custom-built models .
The deep azure is combined with white, grey, black, to different shades of brown with antique effect.
Special super-strong weaves, made of other 10 different colours, are the focus of the new style of seats, surrounded by the Alcantara® with beautiful burnt colours.
Blue stitching and profiles recall the vivid colour of classical Alcantara® with a suede effect that upholsters the mouldings, from over the belts, to the pavilion in an attempt to let even the blue sky of Capri get into the car.
The armrests’ inserts on the doors and the main soft parts of the dashboard are also dressed in Alcantara®, the instrument and multi-media panel is painted in the nautical white the same used for the body.
The access and the habitability of the third row of seats has been improved by a greater overturning of central seats and a new interior covering of the roof.
The novel rear window is made of transparent crystal material and is applicable with a zip: with a Velcro becomes a unique coverage of the boot.

An extensive list of accessories and materials has been specially created to fulfil all possible needs and aesthetic preferences.
In one of the two lateral lockers inevitable is the shower that draws from a tank of 10/15 litters of water, which you can use to wash the car with, during or at the end of the service.
Below the beach “spiaggetta” a large compartment to store the roof accessories, the bucket with cleaning supplies.
The floor of the boot is available in teak or special scratch-resistant material, and it is defended by long stainless steel inserts that facilitate sliding luggage until baseboard in polished steel with rubber inserts.
It is possible also to use the load securing system on the two lateral binaries.
The highly visible wood mouldings can be made of many hardwood materials in addition to mahogany and teak.
In the two lateral grooves fits the polished steel bulkhead with handmade inserts in precious wicker twine in wood colours that can host in the centre special advertising space.
The new TAXI light is updated to the latest regulations and it clearly shows, in addition to the special design, the green light of "free" and the red "busy."
