A product of advanced technology, Hopium aims to be a world leader in hydrogen-powered vehicle with a projected turnover of €1 billion by 2030.

OLIVIER LOMBARD

An experienced racing driver, Olivier Lombard has created an automobile legacy. In 2011 he made himself an international reputation by becoming the youngest ever driver to win the 24 hour Le Mans race. Forward looking, he dabbled in the world of hydrogen as early as 2013. For seven years he tested hydrogen-powered racing cars from the Swiss laboratory Green GT, specialists in the R&D and the implementation of high-powered electro- hydrogen systems (combustible battery.) Within the framework of the MissionH24 project - which aims to enter the first hydrogenpowered racing car in the 2024 Le Mans 24 hour race - Olivier Lombard, in recent editions of the event, carried out a demonstration of the first hydrogen-powered racing model. This was the fruit of committed effort in close cooperation with the engineering team.

In 2020 he founded the Hydrogen Motive Company in France with its automobile division Hopium, where the aim was to develop the first upmarket hydrogen-powered sedan.
