Mallock was linked to RML, whose first complete road car project, in 1990, was a tribute to the original Ford GT40. Unlike many contemporaries that captured the GT40's exterior look without its performance, the car closely followed the original's specification while its ride and handling were tuned to exceed modern expectations, and only a limited number were produced.
