This story started 35 years ago when there was no internet, TV shows, mobile phones with smart apps. Promotion of ideas and products was an expensive and tantalising task to do back then. Getting public attention and interest with no facebook, twitter or regular e-mails was a real quiz to solve.However, the idea of building own supercar was live back then as it still is today. Perhaps that passion of chasing the dream was more natural than nowadays due to magnificent inspirations from Porsche, Ferrari dominating world motorsport.

Ferrari has issued the following release:ArchitectureA working group of F1 and GT engineers has been focused on the chassis for more than three years, availing itself of the contribution of Rory Byrne, who helped win 11 world titles in his role as the Scuderia’s Chief Designer. To achieve maximum efficiency and minimum weight, the carbon-fibre monocoque will be built in-house in Ferrari’s F1 composites department using materials, design methodologies, construction processes and instruments used to produce the single-seaters. Key to the chassis performance characteristics is the use of four different types of carbon-fibre which are hand-laminated then cured in autoclaves following engineering processes which optimise the design by integrating the different components. The result is torsional rigidity has increased by 27 per cent and beam stiffness by 22 per cent compared to the Enzo Ferrari.The space beneath the bodywork has been cleverly utilised in order to house the complex mechanical units and to perfect the internal fluid dynamics.

Presented at a private event in Monaco at the end of November, the Milan Abarth is a first product of new Austrian company Milan Supercars. No exact facts or figures have been officialy states so far, but the Milan Abarth - as the supercar is named - will make up to 1700hp (on racing fuel). It is said that the main man behind this manufacturer is Raphael Abarth - son of the world-famous Karl Abarth. Considering that Milan Supercars will attempt to keep the weight of the vehicle as low as 1200 kg, this can be a real stunner. Actual production figures are not confirmed yet, but some say that not more than just seven hand-built examples will be produced.

Kept under nine locks the forthcming Ferrari Enzo's successor is one of the most secret and most anticipated supercar project. There is a very little doubt that next year will bring anything as suprising and striking as the codenamed F150 or Special Limited Edition as Ferrari still keeps the official name under cover.So far only few official details have hit news sources. However, Ferrari has decided to give us a little glimpse of what is coming up, just before Christmas.
