Among innovative concept cars at Paris Motor Show this year is the Segula Hagora automobile. Developed by French company, this interesting future three-seater coupe car is powered by a 600 cc two-stroke 115 hp Rotrax engine made by BRP coupled with a 102hp (maximum power) electric engine. The power unit is mated with a continuous variable transmission (CVT). This technical decision resulted in a clutch-less powertrain.The Hagora is a resources-friendly vision.

Rarely we see so many premieres of mighty and exclusive supercars in such short period of time like this week! Here comes another one brand new and very special automobile. This time from Belgium.One might remember the country as a home of “love it or hate it” Gillet Vertigo. This fact would be useful since Raphael van der Straeten – the man behind his own VDS Racing Adventures team and the instigator of a brand new Belgian marquee – the VDS Cars – has been working closely with Tony Gillet’s team and first two automobiles saw the daylight in the Gillet workshop.Actually, the new model which was presented yesterday in two versions – the GT 001 and GT 001-R – is based on the carbon chassis of the Gillet Vertigo.

Having announced the return of the Ermini marque, we are equally pleased to introduce a rebirth of the marque which made too little cars but left too significant mark in history to be forgotten.The name ATS might not ring a bell at once. However, this Bologna-based manufacture grew out of the falling-out in 1961 between Enzo Ferrari and his kingpins including Giorgio Billi, Jaime Ortez-Patino, Carlo Chiti, Giotto Bizzarrini and Count Volpi di Misurata who later founded Scuderria Serenissima while Bizzarrini after disagreements with Chiti soon established the world-famous company of his own name.The Automobili Turismo e Sport had an objective to develop both race and road cars powered by V8 engines. Regrettably, the racing project was not a success thus Carlo Chiti soon after commissioned Franco Scaglione – a yet another iconic designer and person – to design a bodywork for a roadgoing two-seater sportscar.

Pasquale Ermini was the man behind the company of his own name in the ‘50s. Back then he developed aluminum cylinder-head with two over head camshafts which was applied for the Fiat 1100 engine. Namely, this engine became the cornerstone for Ermini’s later creations.During the period of existence this small workshop developed an built automobiles, mainly racing cars, powered by this modified aggregate. However, there was also an elegant coupe model – the Gran Turismo – of 1953 for which the bodywork was created by Carrozzeria Pietro Frua.

The Swiss company Classic Factory which already announced the production of the Jaguar E-Type-inspired Lyonheart K model at the end of February is going one step further. It has just announced that the production of this unique state-of-the-art tribute will be manufactured in a very strictly limited edition of just 250 units worldwide. 175 units will be sold in Europe, 25 in Middle East, 50 in China.Newly presented is a convertible version of the Lyonheart K which will be offered alongside the coupe model. Both versions will be manufactured in Coventry, United Kingdom by Envisage Manufacturing.

Exagon Motors is back to Paris. The company presented an attractive all-electric Furtive-eGT in Paris two years ago. Now it shows final production version of their zero-emission sportscoupe.The car will be built around a full carbonfibre monocoque structure ensuring both rigidity and lightness. The Furtive-eGT will be equipped with two Siemens electric liquid-cooled motors which together develop 402 hp and 516 Nm of torque.

Venturi has presented the production version of the America sportsbuggy at the Paris Motor Show this year. Combining the best of sports models and off-road vehicles, the zero-emission model is powered by a 220kW, 400 Nm electric engine which enables the car to accelerate up to the maximum speed of 200 km/h.A specially developed 53kWh lithium-ion polymer battery pack is said to be good for a maximum speed of 300 km at a constant speed of 90 km/h. The America model is indeed an elegant Fetish with more muscles and capabilities. A doorless vehicle which gives unique experience both on- and off-road will be exclusively manufactured in France.
