2011-10-14 Genty Akylone - a French 1000hp supercar is coming soon

If you asked a true automobile anorak if we need a yet another one supercar on the market, the answer would be "definitely yes". The time for a brand new supercar to appear is October 16, 05:00 AM (GMT). A mysterious automobile named Akylone is to be a superlightweight coupe weighing only 1100kg and powered by a 1000+ hp engine. The new hypermachine is developed by an independent French design company Genty Automobile.
As their official introduction reveals, the car was developed in 4 years by a team of experienced specialists of different areas. The Akylone uses advaced materials and is supposed to seduce the most passionate and the most demanding customers. Not much information is available at this moment. However, the company has already released five spartan teaser videos and one teaser image which can be found below. More information about this French newcomer is coming very soon!
