2011-02-26 GENEVA 2011 - Koenigsegg Agera R - more details emerge

As reported before, Koenigseeg has a new version of the Agera in its lineup - the R. According to EVO, the brand-new upgraded version is claimed to have accomodated a massive herd of 1115 horses under the hood and have a dry-weight of just 1330 kg. There's no doubt the rear spoiler will come in handy.
An exceptional feature of the white example to be world premiered at the Geneva Motor Show in the next few days is the Thule carbonfibre ski-box.
No exact performnce details have been announced yet, but it is obvious that the refined Agera will become another serious contender in the compatetion named "the fastest car in the world". As you might remember, currently the title belongs to the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport. In the meantime SSC is developing their Next Generation, Koenigsegg Agera R appears to be contender #1.
